AstraZeneca
The AstraZeneca vaccine, developed in conjunction with Oxford University, is an adenovirus-vector-based vaccine, which encodes the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2. Adenoviral vectors are genetically engineered forms of the virus. AstraZeneca codes the vaccine as ChAdOx1 nCoV-19.
Fetal cell line: The HEK293 cell line (info here) originated from a healthy aborted child in the 1970s, age unknown.
Did AstraZeneca use the HEK293 fetal cell line in research? Yes, they did in the research and development of the vaccine, as explained in this scientific report from July 2020 in Nature journal.
To propagate the virus in the HEK293 cells means to grow it in them. They will need to do this in ongoing manufacturing.
Does AstraZeneca use the HEK293 fetal cell line in manufacturing? Yes, see above, the viral vaccine is propagated (grown) in the cell line.
Moderna
The Moderna vaccine is a messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine. Messenger RNA, or mRNA, is found naturally in cells. It transfers the instructions from the DNA code, the sequence of nucleic acids, to make the proteins. The mRNA vaccine instructs a patient’s cells to produce proteins, in this case the spike protein found on the outer surface of the COVID-19 virus. This is the part of the virus that interacts with our immune cells. By stimulating the production of the spike protein, an antigen (antibody generator), the body builds up antibodies to it. Then if the body is infected with the whole COVID-19 virus, it is prepared to fight it. Moderna codes the vaccine as mRNA-1273.

Did Moderna use the HEK293 fetal cell line in research? Yes, they did in the research and development of the vaccine.
In March 2020, researchers explained in Science journal that they expressed the 2019-nCoV spike in the prefusion conformation using HEK293 cells. That means they made the spike protein so they could study it, and they used HEK293 cells as the medium to express it in.
In this preliminary report from July 2020, researchers explain in the supplementary appendix that ACE-2-overexpressing 293T cells were used in a neutralisation assay to detect the presence of antibodies, a test to make sure the vaccine works as it should.
This August 2020 preclinical trial report in Nature journal also explains that researchers transfected HEK293 cells to test expression. That means they added the vaccine in each step of development to the cells to see if they produced the protein as expected. This is the in vitro (in the lab) mRNA expression test.
This U.S. patent for the in vivo (in the body) production of proteins explains a similar test, including testing the mRNA encapsulated in the lipid for delivery into the body. Again, they needed to see if the vaccine was stable and worked as expected.

Medical journalist Del Bigtree of the weekly broadcast Highwire discussed on his show this week what he believes may be the primary reason why Fauci and the other political medical tyrants are so desperately trying to censor the positive results of Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), a drug that has been around for over 65 years and is already FDA approved.
The reason is probably because they want to force a COVID vaccine upon the public, and to do so, they need to fast-track the development of these vaccines, and then the FDA has to issue a an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to approve it.
According to the “Qualifying Criteria” that allows the FDA to issue an EUA, there must be “No adequate, approved, and available alternative.”
HCQ is an “adequate, approved, and available” alternative, which should then disqualify any EUAs issued for a vaccine to treat COVID.
The problem, of course, is that the Trump Administration has already given over $8 BILLION to Big Pharma to develop the vaccine in “Project Warp Speed,” fast-tracking the vaccines development.
In fact, this has already happened with Gilead’s anti-viral drug Remdesivir, which was fast-tracked as a treatment for COVID and then issued an EUA. See:

While the cost for the older HCQ medication is only about $20, Remdesivir’s cost is about $3200.00. And there is such a demand for it now, being the only “approved” medication for COVID, that other pharmaceutical companies are now stepping forward and offering to make it available as well, as Attorney Generals in 34 states this week sent a letter to the Federal Government requesting they “sidestep” Gilead’s patent. These mass murderers who call themselves “doctors” and claim absolute authority on medical issues do not treat patients themselves, but they control the FDA, the CDC, the NIH, and pretty much the entire Government.
They don’t value human life, and only want control so they can usher in their New World Order, and if a fast-tracked COVID vaccine ends up injuring and killing more people than COVID, it fits in perfectly with their plans for their New World Order and a One World Government as they seek to reduce the world’s population of those they deem “non-essential.”

Australians and people worldwide criticize politicians. After three years in parliament, I know why. Yet people allow politicians to rule their lives and allow governments to take control of their lives. Why?
I invite people to ask basic questions and to then decide. Consider the drug Ivermectin. It’s been given in 3.7 billion doses over 60 years—no adverse effects; safe. Ivermectin is off patent—affordable. In 2013 Ivermectin was approved in Australia for treating diseases. In 2014 I took Ivermectin after working in India. It cured me—no adverse effects. Australian doctors regularly prescribe Ivermectin for illnesses.
Is it effective with COVID? In April 2020 in the Senate, I raised Ivermectin’s promising in vitro trials at Monash University. Counties, states and regions in South America, Asia, Africa and Europe have had amazing success with Ivermectin for treating, curing and preventing COVID. More than 40 peer-reviewed scientific papers have been published hailing Ivermectin’s success in treating COVID. A study among Indian healthcare workers showed an 83 per cent reduction in COVID infections with just two tablets. Ivermectin, overseas, is recognized as a cure.
I’m told that Queensland doctors and dentists are stockpiling Ivermectin for their families. An internationally respected Australian specialist recently saved 24 very sick patients in quarantine using Ivermectin. All quickly recovered. Two others not treated died. Overseas, Ivermectin is a prophylactic, stopping COVID transmission. Where vaccines are failing, Ivermectin is succeeding. How many deaths would have been saved if the health minister had acted?
I have prescriptions for Ivermectin from two doctors. Why can’t all Australians have that freedom to choose? Why isn’t Australia’s government adopting Ivermectin? Why did the TGA threaten and try to silence me with a letter when I discussed Ivermectin with constituents as their representative in parliament? I mentioned Ivermectin in a YouTube video and was banned for a week. Member of parliament Craig Kelly made statements based on solid data. After speaking about Ivermectin, Facebook banned him forever. Why are doctors scared of being struck off the doctors’ registry if they prescribe Ivermectin to cure their patients?
Consider the vaccine maker Pfizer’s profits. It’s second quarter 2021 revenue was $19 billion, up 89 per cent. In three months, it made $4 billion profit. The European Medicines Agency discovered a definite link between Pfizer’s vaccine causing myocarditis. In September 2020, our TGA approved Pfizer’s Vyndamax drug to treat myocarditis. Our health department confirmed the AstraZeneca vaccine’s links with blood clots. Pfizer’s Eliquis drug treats blood clotting. Last quarter its sales were up 13 per cent. So are those blood clots rare? Really? In 2019 Pfizer’s Zavicefta drug was approved to ICU patients on ventilators. Is Pfizer making profits making people sick and more profit treating the sickness it caused?
Consider the ownership of vaccine makers. Alphabet owns YouTube and Google. Alphabet owns 12 per cent of Vaccitech, which created the AstraZeneca vaccine. YouTube bans videos mentioning Ivermectin as a COVID treatment. Aren’t these conflicts of interest? If Ivermectin was approved for COVID, what would happen to big Pharma’s hundreds of billions of dollars in profits? These profits are a transfer of wealth from taxpayers to big Pharma.
Before becoming health minister, Greg Hunt was the environment minister, where he joined Malcolm Turnbull steering a law through parliament as a basis for a global carbon dioxide tax. In 2000 and 2001, he spent two years at the World Economic Forum in Davos developing strategy. A simple question: did he work on the forum’s great reset? I have already spoken on the government’s lack of a proper COVID management plan. Why has Minister Hunt falsely claimed that the government’s COVID policy is based on science when he is contradicting science? Finally, who owns the legacy media suppressing news of Ivermectin’s success?
In summary, Ivermectin would complement vaccines, give people informed choice, save many lives, end lockdowns—and, in doing so, save more lives—save money, restore our economy to secure future health and end any need for vaccine passports or vaccine prisons. Basic freedoms, jobs and livelihoods could be restored. Why is the government not using Ivermectin as a proven, safe, affordable life saver?
