“The Bruised Our Lady” from Katoomba which had facial bruises that moved from day to day. She also perspired oil over Easter 1988. The Bruised Our Lady was found in an old garage and was painted like a clown. She had plasticine pushed into all her clothes and face. She was cleaned and scrubbed and eventually these bruises appeared on her cheeks.
